Fundación Las Rosas Nursing Home

The Fundación Las Rosas nursing home in Santiago, Chile is a foundation dedicated to assisting the abandoned and destitute elderly population. Since first opening in 1967, the institution has worked to fulfill the mission of welcoming the poorest elderly people in the country, giving them love, affection, and the necessary care to live their old age with the dignity we all deserve.

Hatch’s Santiago office has been supporting Fundación Las Rosas for the past 13 years and has become regular visitors of the residents. This past December, members of the Santiago office visited the nursing home where past and present employees of Hatch's Santiago folkloric group – El Bosque Norte – delighted residents with a musical performance of typical Latin American Christmas songs and dances. The Santiago office also offered snacks to the residents during their performance.

However, this wasn’t all. Prior to their December visit, Hatch Santiago staff undertook an internal campaign to raise funds to support the community. Through this campaign, Hatch was also able to deliver CLP$1,704,000 worth of much needed supplies during their visit, as a donation to the home and its 48 residents.

It is through opportunities like this that Hatch strives to contribute and support the local communities in which we work!
